Review of Linux Compatibility

The Samsung ML-2165 is a black-and-white laser printer, that can be connected with USB. The Version ML-2165W additionally supports WiFi.

Both printers (ML-2165 and ML-2165W) are supported in with Linux by the “Samsung Unified Linux Driver”, which can be downloaded from the Samsung homepage.

As prerequisite for the installation of the “Samsung Unified Linux Driver” the tools CUPS, SANE, and GhostScript have to be available on the Linux system.
