Review of Linux Compatibility

The PCI card Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 Slim bases on the AV200 chipset and is partly supported by the kernel module snd-virtuoso, if at least ALSA 1.0.24 or Linux kernel version 2.6.38 is used.

The card will be recognized the following way by the kernel:
