Works out of the box perfectiy with Ubuntu 14.04. I am presently using the same in Linuxmint 16 as well as Linuxmint 17, both based on Ubuntu 14.04. Just works.

Drops the connection all the time. Look on the web – many, many complaints about the RTL8188 chipset dropping the signal. Running Ubuntu 12.04 and have recompiled using the latest Realtek drivers (more than once).

I’m using Win XP on my desktop more frequently just so that I don’t have to struggle under Linux.. eeeeargh!!!

Would have given it ONE star if browsing with XP worked properly on this site..
