Review of Linux Compatibility
The Technotrend TT-Connect CT2-4650 supports DVB-C, DVB-T and DVB-T2 reception. Linux drivers are provided by Technotrend. These drivers can be used for kernel versions 3.5.x to 3.9.x (download of the Linux drivers).
The downloaded driver has to be compiled per hand. After downloading the driver
tar xfvz media_build-tt-130819.tar.gz cd media_build-tt
a installation script has to be executed. There is a script of 32bit and 64bit systems with and without DVB-C support, i.e. four scripts are available:
./v4l/build_x86.sh ./v4l/build_dvbc_x86.sh ./v4l/build_x64.sh ./v4l/build_dvbc_x64.sh
from which the correct one has to be chosen.
One compiles the driver by
make make install
Afterwards, the system has to be restarted. The driver is loaded during the reboot.
A detailed installation instruction is available at the Technotrend homepage as PDF file for downlaod.
There is no information available if the CI slot is supported under Linux.
