The Delock PCI card 89004 extends the PC by 2 additional serial and by 1 parallel port.

The PCI card is recognized by the Linux kernel in the following way:

In order to use access the card, the kernel module parport_pc has to be loaded together with the IO ports and the interrupt of the card. It is possible to provide several parameters at once, e.g.:

/sbin/modprobe parport_pc io=0x378,0xc000,0xc800 irq=7,11

If the initialization of the Linux kernel module parport_pc was successful, the additional parallel port is listed at /proc/interrupts:
