The Canon CanoSCan LIDE 110 is fully supported by SANE thanks to the SANE-Genesys-Backend.

The scanner has the USB ID 04a9:1909

Bus 002 Device 007: ID 04a9:1909 Canon, Inc.

and is supported by the sane backend at least since version 1.0.22. The scanner gets recognized automatically:
