Review of Linux Compatibility
Linux compatible Mini-ITX mainboard with low power consumption of approximately 35W (32 Watt while idling, 36 Watt at full capacity) and several interfaces (VGA, 1x parallel port, 1x serial port, 2x PS/2, 2x SATA 3.0 Gb/s, 4x external USB 2.0, 3x on-board USB 2.0, 1x PCI bus, 1xPCI-Express mini card). The processor is a Intel Atom D525 which is cooled passively and has two cores, each providing 2 virtual CPUs with a speed of 3600 Bogomips.
The on-board soundchip is a Realtec ALC662, network chipset bases on the Realtec RTL8111E (10/100/1000MBit) and graphic chipset is a GMA3150. The mainboard can be equipped with up to 4 GB (2×2 GB DDR3, 1066 / 800 MHz).
The D525MW is supported by several Linux distributions e.g. Ubuntu 10.4, Fedora 13, RHEL 5.5 and MeeGo v1.0.
