Review of Linux Compatibility

The Evoluent Vertical Mouse 3 is an ”upright” mouse (VML3 for left handed, VMR3 for right handed) and is used for reducing RSI strain.
All main buttons work fine, including sensitivity via specific buttons on mouse (doesn’t require PC configure/interaction for that).

Changing actions for other buttons requires technical knowhow and editing configuration files manually. Browsers support back/forwards buttons of the mouse, but until now not any other application was discovered that have a use for these buttons yet (without manually configuring them to do some other key/button combination).
