Review of Linux Compatibility

The Logitech MX900 is a Bluetooth mouse. The receiver is connected via USB and has the USB ID 046d:c705

Bus 009 Device 007: ID 046d:c705 Logitech, Inc. MX900 Bluetooth Wireless Hub (C-UJ16A)

The Logitech MX900 can operate as a normal Bluetooth-dongle, or a HID device with the Bluetooth connection to the mouse completely transparent.

It is compatible in booth modes, but sometimes it is the wrong mode on startup, and it is not simple to switch between them. That means without a Bluetooth stack sometimes the mouse is inaccessible. Unplugging the USB-connector to the PC and re-plugging always resets the device in HID-Mode an the mouse works.
