If several Logitech devices shall be managed or the battery level of the Logitech Perfomance MX should be indicated, it is recommended to use the program Solaar. This program is currently not part of the Ubuntu distribution, but can easily be installed from its repository by using the package management system:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:daniel.pavel/solaar sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install solaar
Alternatively, the source code of the program can be downloaded from its GIT repository: https://github.com/pwr/Solaar.
