Review of Linux Compatibility

The Canopus Amber is a single PCI board, which includes a MPEG-2 video and audio hardware encoder (up to 15 Mb/s). The card supports MPEG-2 D1, Half-D1, and MPEG-1 real-time encoding from S and composite sources.

The Canopus Abber does not work with Linux. No kernel module is loaded and no video device is created to access the card.
