Review of Linux Compatibility
The Zotac ZBox ID88 is a low-power PC with Intel HD Graphics 2500 chipset. The PC can be upgraded up to 16GB with 204-pin DDR3-1600 SO-DIMMs.
The ID88 is compatible with Linux, although the available information is quite limited. The PC was run successfully with Ubuntu 13.04 and Centos 6.4. Both distributions recognize the hardware components (Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, Sound, Graphic Chipset) out of the box.
However, it has to be taken into account that the embedded Realtek NIC is not recognizd under older Linux kernels (e.g. Ubuntu 12.04 or older).
If you use the Zotac Zbox ID88 under Linux please leave your feedback (e.g. lsusb, lspci -nnv, etc.) in the comment section of this page.
