Review of Linux Compatibility

The Logitech R700 Presenter has an integrated laser pointer but also allows via its USB receiver to control a presentation wirelessly. The remote can be used to start the presentation, to switch slides and to activate or deactivate the video output.

The R700 Presenter is automatically supported under Linux (e.g., since Ubuntu 8.10) and can be used for presentations with LibreOffice, evince, ooimpress (Open Office Presentation) or LaTeX-Beamer PDFs.

The USB receiver has the USB ID 046d:c52d:
