Review of Linux Compatibility

The “Intenso Memory 2 Move” is an external harddisk, which can be connected via USB 3.0, but can also be accessed per WiFi. Such wireless transmission of data stored on the harddisk is provided by a web frontend or via SMB protocol. Therefore, even under Linux data can be accessed via WiFi.

The harddisk is formatted with the FAT32 file system. The data can not be accessed via WiFi, if the disk is formatted with the Linux file systems ext3 or ext3 ist ein Zugriff. In this case the internal firmware (tested with firmware 1.000.006) does not recognize the file system any more and files are not accessible via web frontend or SMB. However, files can still be accessed bia USB.
