The Mad Catz M.M.O. 7 is a gaming mouse and has the USB ID 06a3:0728:

The maus is supported by Linux, but needs additional configuration steps. Therefore, in the file “/etc/X11/xorg.conf” the following entry has to be added (alternatively, this configuration can also be stored in a separate file like, e.g., “/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/910-rat.conf” for Ubuntu 12.04):
