Review of Linux Compatibility

The PrimuX USB from Gerdes is a ISDN adapter, which is connected via USB to the PC. The adapter is supported by Linux and a closed source driver is provided at Gerdes’ homepage. However, the driver can only be used with kernel version from 2.4.0 to 2.6.24. It is not possible to use the driver since Linux kernel version 2.6.25, since the kernel mode API for USB is not available for closed source drivers any longer.
