Review of Linux Compatibility

The Gainward Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 PCI-Express card is fully compatible with Linux. NVIDIA provides continuously new drivers for the GTS 450. The card needs at least driver of the version 260.19.12.

The installation is carried out in the console with the command

sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-310.19.run [--help]

which starts the graphical configuration program.

Debian also provides drivers, but the installation is quite cumbersome.
